Hearing care can involve more than a hearing test or a hearing aid. Depending on your needs, it may include assessment, rehabilitation, communication support, counselling, hearing devices, monitoring, referral and ongoing care.
Different hearing care practitioners have different qualifications, clinical certifications and scopes of practice. Some areas of care overlap. Other services require additional training, broader certification or specialist involvement.

The Australian College of Audiology inc HAASA (ACAud) is a national Practitioner Professional Body representing Audiologists and Audiometrists across Australia.
