The Founding Unity Offer recognises practitioners who want to be part of a connected, collaborative and inclusive hearing healthcare profession, while recognising the different professional and educational pathways that contribute to hearing care across Australia.

Founding Unity is a joining offer, not a separate membership category. Successful applicants join ACAud as Full Members with the same membership status, rights, responsibilities and professional obligations as other ACAud Full Members.

Applicants must meet ACAud’s Full Membership requirements, hold current professional membership and standing with an eligible Practitioner Professional Body, and complete ACAud’s required declarations.

Where an applicant already holds applicable current clinical practice certification recognised by ACAud, they will not be required to unnecessarily repeat an equivalent clinical certification process.

The Founding Unity Offer does not change a practitioner’s qualifications, professional title, clinical certification or scope of practice.
